Selected work

From fragmented data
to useful answers.

Six projects show a connected set of data-delivery strengths, followed by a featured example of artificial intelligence supporting practical technical delivery.

01 · Make manual data reusable

From spreadsheets to a reusable member-data workflow

Turn manual list processing into a database foundation for planning and reporting.

The problem

Member lists and visit history were compared manually in spreadsheets to identify outreach needs and organize locations for clinician planning.

My contribution

Built database tables and SQL workflows to compare incoming lists with visit history and prepare demographic and location information. Also partnered with an external developer on requirements, design and testing for digital assessment capture.

The result

Established a reusable data workflow for member processing and reporting, alongside support for moving assessment capture from paper into a system.

02 · Deliver against agreed requirements

Automated data feeds from requirements to production

Coordinate the full delivery lifecycle for client-specific outbound claims data.

The problem

Different clients and disability plans required specific rules and outputs in the data feeds returned to them.

My contribution

Documented client needs, wrote technical specifications and coordinated with developers in an Agile/Scrum environment. Tested claims scenarios and file outputs, resolved questions with stakeholders and validated readiness before production.

The result

Established automated outbound feeds against agreed requirements, with later changes coordinated through development and renewed testing.

03 · Build shared analytical models

From source data to shared reporting models

Evolve fragmented source extracts into a dimensional warehouse that supports reporting across departments.

The problem

Reporting relied on selected extracts from a fragmented warehouse, with manual steps in the daily preparation process.

My contribution

Built the end-to-end load, staging and star-schema layers, with SQL transformations, automated ETL and shared measures. Worked with IT, a consultant and the DBA to evolve processing, then move it into scheduled SQL jobs that better matched the business need.

The result

A shared foundation for dashboards across departments, with reusable reporting logic and a simpler operational delivery approach.

04 · Connect data to business decisions

A Finance scorecard across three ERP systems

Replace repetitive preparation with a reporting process built around agreed business rules.

The problem

Finance needed a dependable combined view across three ERP systems, without repeating manual preparation each day.

My contribution

I connected the reporting workflow, worked through business definitions with Finance and validated the results.

The result

Removed roughly 45 minutes of daily preparation, with a scorecard refreshing three times daily.

The diagram summarizes the workflow. It is not a production system diagram or a screenshot of company data.

05 · Modernize delivery

Complete priority migration work before renewal

Coordinate the remaining work in a Domo-to-Tableau migration already underway.

Tableau deliveryBefore renewal

The problem

A platform migration was underway, with priority reporting needed before the renewal deadline.

My contribution

I led the remaining work with the team and consulting partner, keeping delivery focused on priority reports.

The result

The annual platform subscription cost was reduced by approximately 91%. Priority reporting was delivered before renewal.

The reduction compares annual subscription contracts and excludes migration costs. The project began before I joined; my role covered remaining priority work.

06 · Design for broader consumption

Reusable data for BI and AI

Extend a layered approach into trusted data products designed for more than one type of consumer.

SilverCleanup and transformation

GoldBusiness-ready data

The problem

Fragmented data and mixed ingestion, cleanup and reporting logic make information harder to reuse. Business rules can become tied to individual reports rather than shared across consumers.

My contribution

Applied layered approaches to separate source capture, preparation and business-ready data. Embed governance practices through documented business rules, consistent definitions and validation. Extend that foundation through medallion-style architecture and shared logic, designing reusable data products for BI and AI consumption.

The result

Clearer separation between processing stages and a reusable foundation for reporting. The same design direction supports broader BI and AI consumption without rebuilding business logic for every use.

07 · Artificial intelligence in delivery

AI-assisted pipeline delivery and automation

A recurring approach to using artificial intelligence across technical delivery, research and reporting.

The problem

Business reporting depended on data pipelines that needed ongoing maintenance, troubleshooting and new automation.

My contribution

Used approved AI agents and CLI-based assistance to work through pipeline logic, resolve issues and develop automation. Applied technical judgment and checked outputs against source data and business requirements.

The result

Maintained production data workflows and delivered automation supporting business reporting, using AI to extend practical delivery capacity.
